Brett Evje was born in Livingston but grew up relocating across Western Montana. From his early years in West Yellowstone to graduation from Polson High School to his ensuing post-secondary education in both Bozeman and Missoula, Brett has developed a deep love and admiration for the state of Montana and the many scenic and unique wonders that differentiate the state and its “Big Sky Country” from anywhere else on earth. Perhaps the only factor to which Brett attributes more admiration is that of the unfailing good character and friendliness of its residents.

Brett holds a Bachelor of Science in History from the University of Montana and uses his knowledge of Post-Industrial Soviet Russia primarily as a conversation starter at cocktail parties. In 1999, Brett created and founded Yellowstone Rockworks, a high-end stone masonry company focusing on luxury homes and ranches in Big Sky, The Yellowstone Club, Paradise Valley, and the surrounding areas. His in-depth understanding of the construction process, literally from the ground up, is a unique expertise that affords him greater insight and effectiveness in the optimal execution and success of every personal property transaction.

After eight profitable years in masonry, Brett opted to undertake a new challenge, the highly competitive landscape of the restaurant industry. He opened his first restaurant franchise, a Whitefish-based Italian concept, in Missoula in 2007, followed by a second unit in Billings in 2010. Earlier that year, he also joined with a good friend to purchase and overhaul a Bozeman-based wine bar, Plonk. Today, Plonk in Bozeman is a highly successful upscale cocktail bar and restaurant, an urban concept with its roots deeply rooted in Montanan passions. In 2013, Brett opened a second Plonk unit in Missoula to equal success. His most recent restaurant venture, a historic country bar in Paradise Valley, The Old Saloon, was purchased and restored to its former glory in 2016, and is now a bustling country bar and music venue.

In 2015, Brett decided to combine his diverse business and commercial experience with his drive for impactful results and love for the Montana lifestyle. He began his career in real estate in 2015 and has skillfully executed numerous residential and commercial transactions during his short tenure. As an entrepreneur, project developer, and fifth-generation Montanan, Brett is honored to be the newest member of Platinum Properties and looks forward to working with clients on an individual basis to create a custom, expertly crafted home-buying experience.

Brett has an affinity for travel, innovative design, old cars, private flight, vintage white burgundy, and a perfectly crafted cocktail. He is happy to reside in Bozeman with his wife and daughter.
